Traditionally, the end of the year is accompanied by the election of 'Horse of the Year'. With this competition, Landbouwleven honors the Belgian showjumping horse and its breeders in collaboration with Jumping Mechelen.

This year there is a Horseman Reference on the list of nominated horses and we hope that you want to vote for Kannabis! This Belgian champion jumping 2018 was bred by Els Boterdaele and Jürgen Goethals and performs exceptional with Dominique Hendrickx, with whom he won the title. He also claimed the victory in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Zandhoven and in the CSI3* Grand Prix of the Brussels Masters this year, while he finished second in the CSI4* Grand Prix of Samorin last month.
