The Holsteiner stallion Cabrio v/d Heffinck is without a doubt one of the best jumping horses in his generation. Cabrio and Olivier Philippaerts became European Champions in the Young Riders with the Belgian team and they delivered a fantastic performance in the Belgian team at the Super League competition in Hickstead.Dy Light v/h Rezenhof, the mother of Light-Thing, is a daughter of the excellent progenitor Utrillo v/d Heffinck who himself jumped at international level. Dy Light won, as a two year old, the free jumping in Sint-Niklaas and she became national BWP champion as a three year old. At five years of age she proved her qualities in the cycle for five year old horses, after which time she entered the stud.
