Cartier is a real performer in the sport. As 4-year old he ran 6 out of 6 faultless tests in the cycle and he was 3rd in the stallion test in Mechelen. In 2005 he came second at the BWP stallions competition and he won the stallion test in Mechelen. In 2006 he won both the stallion test in Hasselt and the first manche of the international Stallion Championship in Zwolle. Today Cartier is making it big in the Swedish stud where he is of excellent renown. Ilja, the dam of Giljana, is also the mother of Clarin, approved Westfalen stallion and N-Iljarco, CSI-1.50m GP – Ludo Philippaerts.Ilja is the full sister of Korea who is the mother of the international jumper Olav van Hoogeinde.
